What are the benefits of coconut oil on the skin?

Rich in vitamins E and A, coconut oil has antioxidant and restorative properties. It thus makes it possible to fight against premature skin aging and to repair skin damage, in particular that caused by the rays of the sun and free radicals. Moreover, coconut oil can very well be applied to the skin after exposure to the sun, in order to soothe redness and sunburn. Coconut oil also helps preserve the elasticity of the skin and its firmness, and for good reason, it stimulates the production of collagen.

This vegetable oil also has a moisturizing action, thanks to its content of fatty acids, lauric acid and vitamin K. It is therefore effective in deeply moisturizing the skin and limiting its water loss. Coconut oil is therefore a must for people who have dry skin or who suffer from psoriasis or atopic dermatitis, in particular because of its anti-inflammatory properties which soothe the skin. Note that this nourishing oil can also be used as a make-up remover, to remove any type of make-up, even the most resistant, such as waterproof.

What are the benefits of baking soda on the skin?

Baking soda is a multi-purpose natural product, which has many benefits on the skin. It helps to rebalance the pH of the skin and relieve the inflammation of acne pimples, thanks in particular to its cleansing and antiseptic properties. Used on oily skin, baking soda helps limit the secretion of sebum, in order to prevent the appearance of pimples. It also removes dead skin cells, and therefore brightens the skin and softens it, thanks to its exfoliating action. You can also use baking soda to soothe sunburns or relieve itchy skin caused by eczema, psoriasis, or hives. Note that baking soda is abrasive. It is therefore not recommended for people with sensitive skin.
