How To Have Perfect Skin With Aloe Vera

Aloe, from its botanical name aloe vera, is a mine of treasures for our hair and skin: thanks to vitamin A which produces sebum, it strengthens damaged and fragile hair which becomes better nourished, less brittle and protected against drying out. The antibacterial effect of the vitamin C it contains will allow it to effectively fight inflammation of the skin and drive out dandruff. As for vitamin B12, it acts as a perfect anti-hair loss agent that strengthens hair and boosts its growth. For its part, folic acid prevents early gray hair, strengthens hair follicles and protects against splitting.

Thanks to its nutritious cocktail, aloe gel is renowned for its moisturizing, healing and softening properties. It is therefore often recommended to relieve certain skin lesions such as burns, sunburn, eczema and other inflammations. When it comes to beauty, aloe vera gel can be fused with other ingredients to tone, hydrate, nourish and enhance the skin.

Discover some beneficial uses of this plant to take care of your face.

Here are the different uses of aloe gel:

Before using aloe gel, you must first extract it from the leaves.

Cut a few aloe leaves near the stem. Place them in a glass or other container.

Place the resulting gel in a glass jar. This clear gel has a viscous and slightly liquid texture. It can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two weeks.

Aloe gel for washing

You will need:

  • 4 tablespoons aloe gel
  • 4 tablespoons of your usual cleansing gel
  • 2 teaspoons coconut or almond oil
  • 2 teaspoons of lavender essential oil
  • 2 glasses of water

Mix all the ingredients adding the essential oil. Pour the mixture into a bottle with a measuring cup. Shake the mixture before each use, then apply a small amount to a cotton ball. Wipe your face with the cotton before rinsing with warm water.

Softening, nourishing, moisturizing and anti-aging, coconut oil is very suitable for taking care of your facial skin, but also the whole body which will act as a body milk. If you opt for almond oil instead, know that it is particularly soothing: it relieves all kinds of itching and irritation. Highly recommended for dry skin, it nourishes, moisturizes and protects the epidermis. Also restorative and soothing, lavender essential oil is widely used for the care of sensitive skin. Calming and regenerating, this remedy will soften and purify acne-prone skin.

Aloe Vera face toner

You will need:

  • 2 teaspoons of aloe gel
  • 2 bags of green tea
  • 1 glass of water

Steep the green tea in a glass of hot water for 7 minutes. If you used loose tea, strain the infusion. Discard the cooked tea bags and wait for the infusion to cool. Add the aloe gel to the tea and stir until the product acquires a more uniform consistency, without lumps.

The mixture should be applied with a cotton ball or sprayed directly onto the cleansed face. After this step, the skin should be moisturized with cream.

Why green tea? Because it is a powerful antioxidant. Thanks to the polyphenols it contains, it neutralizes the free radicals responsible for premature aging, protects the skin from external aggressions and gives it more suppleness, thanks to its toning and astringent action. As a bonus, it greatly reduces dark circles, makes the complexion more matte and offers a smoother appearance to the skin.
